Awareness has been raised among many in the fashion industry about the harsh working conditions of the workers abroad who make our clothes. Fashion revolution is the group that has taken the responsibility of making everyone aware of what is going on. That’s why today April 24th, 2014 (the one year anniversary of the Bangladesh tragedy) Fashion Revolution day has been created. This a social media movement aimed to raise awareness about where our clothes come from. The movement dares us to be curious and find out who made our clothes. Today can be start of a big change in the fashion industry. We are now becoming conscious of what we shop.
